I build and run Patchlamp; this page is the résumé behind it — skills, projects and experience, for anyone hiring.
I'm a full-stack software developer based in American Fork, UT. I work across the stack at Kingsley Management Corporation — PHP/Laravel, Vue.js, MySQL, Flutter — and own complex features end-to-end, from the data model to the rollout plan. I started there as an automation engineer writing Python/Selenium tools for the support team, then transitioned into full-stack development in November 2024. That background means I know the domain intimately before I touch a schema.
On the side I've been shipping products: Patchlamp (a website you change by texting it), Plateful (a multi-tenant restaurant ordering platform, built and deployed in 2026, since retired), Sharewire (a self-hosted music sharing platform built end-to-end in 2.5 days), and Artificer (a multi-GPU AI agent orchestrator in async Rust).

Multi-Tenant Restaurant Ordering SaaS
A single-codebase, multi-tenant SaaS that gave each restaurant a branded online ordering storefront on its own subdomain or custom domain — three distinct UI surfaces (customer storefront, per-restaurant tenant admin, platform super-admin) all served by one Laravel 13 + Inertia v3 + Vue 3 app. Designed the tenancy layer from the ground up: a custom-domain-first ResolveTenant middleware with subdomain fallback, a CurrentTenant container, and a BelongsToTenant trait that applies a global scope and auto-stamps restaurant_id so feature code never has to remember to filter by tenant. Implemented Stripe Connect destination charges with a per-restaurant application_fee_percent, a DB-backed cart and OrderPlacement service handling hours/closed-state validation, tax, tips, and loyalty awarding, and a pluggable DeliveryDispatcher abstraction. Backed by 65+ Pest test files covering tenant resolution, cross-tenant isolation, checkout, auth, and admin flows.
Artificer
Self-Hosted Multi-GPU AI Agent Orchestrator
A 3-crate async Rust workspace (~2,600 LOC across engine, envoy client, and shared library) that runs long-running AI agents across a pool of GPUs. Features a GpuPool with explicit acquire/release semantics, a declarative define_agents! procedural macro that auto-wires toolbelts at compile time, and persistent task state in SQLite (WAL mode) so agents can run arbitrarily long without context-window degradation.
Sharewire
Self-Hosted Music Sharing Platform
Built end-to-end in 2.5 days as a portfolio piece, scoped to five user stories (auth, upload, browse and search, personal library with audio playback, uploader-delete with cascade) and shipped with 121 Pest tests / 467 assertions covering every endpoint, action, and policy plus a full end-to-end demo flow. Architected with skinny controllers (every method ≤ 15 lines), Form Requests with policy-backed authorize, typed final readonly DTOs, Action classes, Eloquent Resources, and Policies — zero DB::raw or DB::table in app/. Wired Wayfinder for compile-time-typed Laravel routes consumed from Vue 3 + Inertia, and built a global audio player as a module-level singleton composable that survives Inertia page navigations without Pinia (HTTP Range support so seeking never re-downloads the file). Self-hosted on a Debian laptop via Caddy + PHP-FPM 8.4 + a systemd queue worker, exposed publicly over HTTPS by Tailscale Funnel.
Ledger Management System
Rebounce-Reallocate & Auto-Allocation Engine
Architected a one-click rebounce-reallocate that programmatically repairs ledger allocation errors by wiping allocations from a target month and iteratively re-processing transactions — including NSF unwind/rewind logic. Designed a resident_space_summary table with dirty-flag async recalc that surfaces errors without runtime validation overhead. Built a 3-tier auto-allocation engine (additional-rent pool → designated credits → general payments) supporting security deposits, dual resident/mortgage ledgers, and bounced-payment reversals. Eliminated a full-time manual workload the support team used to absorb.
Support Desk Rewrite
Ticketing, Filtering & Audit Trail
Rewrote the company-wide support desk end-to-end — frontend, backend, and data model — replacing legacy code where every user saw every ticket. Delivered 20+ REST endpoints, 9+ composable filter types, and role-based default filtering ("assigned to me") via Laravel conditional when() chains with localStorage-backed persistence. Added async email notifications via queued jobs, S3 attachments, public/private comments with per-user unread tracking, and an immutable audit history.
Clean & Green Inspections
Flutter App & Notice Delivery System
Rebuilt the resident inspection and notice-delivery system from scratch — Flutter mobile app, Laravel backend, and data model. Replaced per-failure notices with a two-level template-grouping pipeline (Courtesy / Legal / Work Order). Engineered the reason_cure_rule attribute with per-jurisdiction custom-rule lookup and bilingual (English/Spanish) PDF-safe HTML formatting. Added offline-first inspection workflows (SharedPreferences persistence, batch photo upload).
t-components
Internal Vue Design System
Built a 16-component design system (live-table, live-cell, live-grid, live-functionality, plus dialog / filter / autocomplete primitives) now used across 11+ pages in the resident management platform. Runtime theming via CSS custom properties — one hex-color prop drives header/footer/button styling across the library. Declarative header-config API with conditional rendering, input types, and display transforms eliminates boilerplate in consuming pages. Debounced inline editing (default 500ms) to reduce API traffic.
Report Generation Framework
Unified PDF / Excel / Email Pipeline
Designed a unified framework around an abstract NewReport base class — new report classes implement only handle(): Collection and the framework handles PDF/Excel rendering, S3 storage, async email delivery, and single-pass file reuse across download + email paths. Built reusable services: CollToPdf (Dompdf wrapper with dynamic page sizing), CollToExcel, and SendAsyncEmail (queued job with base64 attachment serialization and auto-cleanup). Authored flagship reports (Red Star Report, Rent Roll Report) on top of it.
Support Automation Suite
The Python Tool That Became a Production Feature
A ~2,900 LOC PyQt5 desktop tool I built before transitioning into full-stack development, automating 8+ support workflows — allocation/unallocation, charge and credit deletion, ticket resolution, NSF handling. Includes the original "RedStar bot": a Selenium-driven pseudo rebounce-reallocate that drove through hundreds of ledgers per run and later became the functional spec for my production Laravel rewrite.

- Built a ~2,900 LOC modular Python/PyQt5 desktop tool automating 8+ support tasks and an early Selenium-driven pseudo rebounce-reallocate that later became the spec for my Laravel production rewrite.
- Developed a Pandas + Selenium transaction-reconciliation pipeline that reduced manual reallocation workload from days to minutes; later migrated the critical hot path to direct MySQL for further speedup.
